SHIPPING SCHEDULE
We endeavor to process and ship orders within 48–96 hours after an order is placed.
Shipping timelines may be impacted by Shabbos, Yom Tov, federal holidays, weather conditions, or carrier delays. Such delays are beyond our control.
SHIPPING AVAILABILITY & LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Shipping availability varies by destination and is subject to state and local law. Mitzvah Wine does not ship wine to all states or jurisdictions.
Where permitted, wine is sold under our applicable retail license and shipped in compliance with all laws, including age verification and adult signature requirements.
In certain jurisdictions, orders may be fulfilled by third-party licensed sellers, who will be identified at checkout as the seller of record.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify any order that cannot be fulfilled legally.
PASSAGE OF TITLE & RISK OF LOSS
Title to and ownership of alcoholic beverages pass from Mitzvah Wine to the customer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the state in which the sale occurs.
The customer assumes all responsibility for the product once title has passed, including responsibility for transportation from Pennsylvania to the delivery destination.
Transportation arranged by Mitzvah Wine is provided solely as a convenience and in compliance with applicable laws.
ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT
All wine shipments require:

A valid government-issued photo ID

An adult signature at delivery
Failed delivery attempts or returned shipments due to the absence of an eligible recipient are the responsibility of the customer.
WEATHER, HEAT & COLD DAMAGE
Wine is sensitive to temperature fluctuations. Mitzvah Wine is not responsible for damage caused by heat, cold, or other weather conditions during transit or after delivery, once the shipment has left our facility.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with shipping wine during warm or cold weather.
Seasonal Ordering Recommendation
To reduce the risk of weather-related damage, we strongly recommend placing larger or seasonal orders during cooler months to ensure sufficient supply through spring and summer.
Wine left unattended, delayed due to missed delivery attempts, or exposed to outdoor temperatures after delivery is not eligible for replacement or refund.
PROHIBITED STATES
Due to state law restrictions, we do not ship wine to the following states:
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee

RETURN POLICY

Due to the nature of alcoholic beverages and applicable laws, all wine sales are generally final, except as expressly stated below.
ELIGIBLE RETURNS
Returns are accepted only for unopened bottles and must be approved in advance.
To qualify:

RESTOCKING FEES & SHIPPING
Approved returns are subject to:

A 15% restocking fee

Non-refundable original shipping charges

Customer-paid return shipping using a trackable carrier
WEATHER-RELATED DAMAGE (NOT RETURNABLE)
Wine damaged due to heat, cold, or temperature exposure does not constitute a defect and is not eligible for return, refund, or replacement, except where required by law.
This includes leakage, cork movement, or spoilage caused by temperature fluctuations.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are responsible for:

Promptly retrieving packages
Wine left unattended or delayed due to missed delivery attempts is not eligible for return.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT SHIPMENTS (NON-WEATHER)
If your order arrives broken or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging.
FINAL SALE
Except where required by law, wine purchases are final once delivered.
